The application of Lignu Impregnation resin to wood is too simple. You apply it until it quits
soaking in. It runs like water and wets wood with such low surface tension that penetration is very
rapid.
To summarize my beginning comments about product use, you may have had bad experiences with other
products that were not user-friendly and one needed a Factory-Trained technician or scientist to
show you how to use it. When something is VERY easy to use and it can be done by virtually anyone,
we have a slang expression here in America that "you don't have to be a rocket scientist to do
it." Well, it's true. Lignu Impregnating Resin is not like other products. You simply mix a bit
fifty-fifty, stir the liquids until mixed or pour it back-and-forth a few times between two
containers, pour a bit on the horizontal wood surface and watch the puddle soak in. After a minute
or so, you move the remainder of the puddle with a brush and watch THAT soak in, adding a bit more
from time-to-time to keep the surface wet.
On a vertical surface, one uses a foam roller held only horizontally [if you soak up a foam roller
and hold it vertically, the material runs out due to its low viscosity] and rolled only upward.
This forces out a puddle of the Lignu Impregnating Resin which rests on the top of the roller,
against the wood surface, and soaks in. Obviously, total immersion is ideal but not often
practical. On a horizontal surface, one may pour it on and move the puddle slowly with a brush, as
the Lignu Impregnating Resin soaks in. Usually saturation is achieved in a very few minutes. You
can see it with the eye. It is obvious. It will soak in very rapidly at first, and then much more
slowly and finally hardly-at-all.
It is not paint, so one does not roll a thin coat over an area. It is utterly different from paint.
It is designed to IMPREGNATE wood, and so one applies it to approximate immersion. that is why one
keeps the surface wet until it quits soaking in. Just get a kit and try it, and you will see for
yourself. It's really quite easy to use, probably the easiest-to-use product you have ever used.
